چکیده

Abstract Objective To investigate the clinical outcomes of percutaneous cross screws internal fixation for pelvic Day type II crescent fracture-dislocation. Methods We reviewed 66 consecutive patients undergoing surgical treatment fracture-dislocation from June 2005 to December 2017. Percutaneous was performed in 40 patients, and open reduction 26 patients. The patient characteristics, complications, radiographic were compared. Results There no statistically difference on mean time injury surgery between two groups. operation, amount blood loss, length incision, hospital stay significantly shorter group. No significant Matta scores Majeed group resulted a higher rate intraoperative hemorrhage, nerve injury, discomfort, pain. Conclusion safe effective. Minimally invasive had advantages short operation hospitalization time, less bleeding, trauma.

The Outcomes of Pilon Fracture Treatment: Primary Open Reduction and Internal Fixation Versus Twostage Approach

Background: Pilon fracture is one of the challenging injuries in orthopedic surgery. Associated soft tissue injury is animportant factor in choosing treatment options. Two major methods of treatment are considered as one-stage openreduction internal fixation (ORIF) and two-stage treatment (primary external fixation and secondary ORIF). The latter ismost accepted in literature. In the current st...

Percutaneous Screw Fixation of Crescent Fracture-Dislocation of the Sacroiliac Joint.

Crescent fracture-dislocation of the sacroiliac joint (CFDSIJ) is a type of lateral compression pelvic injury associated with instability. Open reduction and internal fixation is a traditional treatment of CFDSIJ. However, a minimally invasive method has never been reported. The purpose of this study was to assess the outcome of closed reduction and percutaneous fixation for different types of ...

Clinical Results of Percutaneous Fixation of Pelvic and Acetabular Fractures: A Minimally Invasive Internal Fixation Technique

Background: The pelvic ring fractures (PRF) and acetabular fractures (AF) are among the major orthopedic injuriesassociated with high rates of morbidity and mortality. Open surgical stabilization is the standard treatment for themajority of these complications. Percutaneous minimally invasive surgical stabilization of the fractures has become anaccepted treatment method for th...

Treatment of Displaced Sacroiliac Fracture Using the Lateral Window for Short Plate Buttress Reduction and Percutaneous Sacroiliac Screw Fixation.

Fractures through the sacroiliac joint are very challenging to treat, technically difficult to reduce through closed methods on account of the multiaxial displacement of fractures fragments, frequently occur in very unwell patients, and have poor outcomes if malreduction is present. We describe a technique utilising the lateral window and a short buttress plate to reduce and stabilize th...

The functional outcome of surgically treated unstable pelvic ring fractures by open reduction, internal fixation

Abstract Background: Unstable Pelvic fracture, a result of high energy antero-posterior compression injury, has been managed based on internal fixation and open reduction. The mode of fixation in Unstable Pelvic fracture has, however, been a subject of controversy and some authors have proposed a need to address the issue of partial breach of the pelvic ring elements in these injuries. This st...
